Greetings and blessings from Castel Gandolfo West on the central coast. Our chapter's fall doin's celebrating the 150th anniversary of Rankin Ranch is coming up fast, September 27-29, 2013. We invite you to join the Kern contingent of E Clampus Vitus at Rankin Ranch in scenic Walker Basin, California. The doin's is about 1/2 way between the towns of Lake Isabella and Caliente on the Bodfish-Caliente road. When you're done reading this click this link for directions, and of course… there's 3 ways to get there. Be warned, if you have an RV or trailer DO NOT take "Route A" from Hwy 58!
On Friday we have a special treat in store. Luis Bouza and Kevin Oviatt are going to treat us to Argentine BBQ.
Saturday, we will have the greybeards cook you breakfast, then eat the Humbugs wiener, and of course Timbo's famous rib-eyes (and fixin's) for dinner.
Due to the remote location we ask that you pre-pay if at all possible. The cost for rounding up extra supplies for walk-ins will be prohibitive. So please, help us help you by letting us know you are coming.
P.S. Hey you PBC sponsors out there…for the Spring Doin's we asked the PBC's for their best Hole joke. They and their sponsors failed. Not one Hole joke in the lot. (sheesh!) Let's see if we can do better this fall!!
