Greetings my Brethren!
Here it is, summertime once again. We are between erections with nothing but reruns to be had upon the television. With that being the case, it is time to start gettin' yer gold dust and gear together for some "Penny Bar Hyjinx," in the beautiful metropolis of Taft. It's Peter Lebeck's 2018 Fall Doin's, and you're invited.
Starting Thursday, September 20th through Sunday September 23rd, we will be Clamping on the grounds of the historic Franklin Field Arena. Not as much grass as the last doin's, or hook-ups, or indoor facilities, but it is just about the same, otherwise. All the usual admonitions apply, especially no bad attitudes or explosives, especially Widders.
We will be clamping next to the stables, so watch for non-redshirts in the general area during daylight hours and observe seemly decorum. Friendly dogs are welcome this trip but be sure to keep any dogs away from the stables. We don't want you, your dogs or the livestock getting hurt.
After we plaque the McKittrick Hotel and Penny Bar in beautiful downtown McKittrick on Saturday afternoon, we will have the opportunity to partake of the finest cuisine in west Kern County. The Penny Bar has also been known to have adult beverages and reasonably cold beer, something you may want to investigate.
So, mark yer calendars for the 20th of September and figure out how to git yerself registered. Do it by the prepay deadline and it is $65 for Redshirts and $75 for PBCs. Just go to our registration page where we make it so easy that even a Redshirt can do it! Register and pay on-line or by mail. We even accept PayPal.
See you in the Arena!
