The Fall Doin's' is fast approaching. We are headed back to one of our most favorable Clampsites, Camp Okihi. Camp Okihi is located along the Kern River and this year there is plenty of water and fishing. So, bring your pole and don't forget your fishing license.
Our theme for Clamp Okihi IV is "Oktoberfest Along the Kern River, Clamper Style." The fun will officially begin with the Humbug's Meet and Greet on Friday afternoon at "Der PXL Tittegarten" (aka the only known Tittie Bar in Clamperdom!) where we will raise our steins to this old German tradition and say "Zum Wohl" (To your Health)!
Our meet and greet will be followed by a German Style Dinner that will surely give you flatulence until the sun rises.
There will be a Lederhosen and a Stein holding contest with a prize awarded to the winner of each contest. This will take place on Friday after dinner, and PBC's may participate (But PBC's must have No RED).
Camp Okihi is a great location with plenty of room for visiting brothers to come join us and a great place for a Poor Blind Candidate (PBC)to be "taken in" to the Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus. This is also a great place to share with other ECV brothers the friendliness of a PXL Doin's, the history of our Chapter, the secrets of our namesake, Peter Lebeck, and a most Satisfactory HOCO.
If you have a Poor Blind Candidate, be sure to get his name in early and download the PBC Handbook from the PXL Website. Get it to him early so that he can prepare and not make himself or you look more of a fool than you may already be. Be sure to let him know that the Humbug enjoys a good Vodka and the "Captain." As of July 17, 2017, we currently have 7 PBC's preparing to enter into our Ancient and Honorable Order.
So get your Ass up and come join us for a most satisfactory weekend along the Kern River for an Oktoberfest celebration "Clamper Style."
Hope to see you there!
Your Noble Grand Humbug Dale "Top" Turner, PXL 1866
