Welcome My Esteemed Brothers in RED!
In selecting a site for my first Doins' as PXL's 56th Humbug I wanted some place different, some place that we as a Chapter had not been to and that embraced my mindset of "The Sweetness of Doing Nothing."
Brite Lake located just outside of the Mountain Community of Tehachapi is the perfect location and setting for just that: kicking back along the shore of the lake, visiting and sharing libations with our fellow Red Shirts, while still being able to get in a little fishing. "Nothing like dipping your pole," I say.
Besides being a perfect location for a Clampout, Brite Lake is also the perfect spot for you to bring a PBC and introduce him to the Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus. I think we all remember where we had our first Doin's as PBCs. It's always a special place and time for a PBC when he's taken into the Brotherhood of ECV, even if the place is scraggly, but with Brite Lake agreeing to host PXL's Spring Doin's I believe we've lined-up one of the best places in our part of California for what I hope will be a memorable Clamping weekend and one of our "Most Satisfactory" Doin's ever.
Brite Lake in Tehachapi and what we have planned for this trip, have all the makings of a positive experience for all who attend, especially for your PBC. So Brothers, pack your gear, kiss the Widder, leave your dog at home this time and join us at Brite Lake, April 28-30, 2017. Just click on the flashing Green link above to register, but hurry. This is one you won't want to miss!
